Sleeves of the Season: Fall Wedding Dress Trends We Love

There’s something about a wedding dress with sleeves and a crisp Montana fall day that just makes sense. As the weather cools and the leaves start to change, sleeves add a little extra romance to a bridal look—and they’re having a moment for Fall 2026.

Lace Is Always a Classic

You really can’t go wrong with lace sleeves. They’re timeless, romantic, and can completely change the feel of a dress. We’re especially loving delicate floral lace and sheer sleeves for fall. They give you a little coverage while still feeling soft and feminine.

Play With Length

Sleeves don’t have to mean a traditional fitted long sleeve. Short sleeves, three-quarter lengths, off-the-shoulder styles, and detachable sleeves are all beautiful options.

Detachable sleeves are especially fun if you want two looks. Keep them on for the ceremony and photos, then take them off for the reception.

A Little More Whimsy

We’re also seeing sleeves become a bigger statement. Think flowing fabrics, dramatic cuffs, sheer details, and a little extra volume.

If you love a simpler wedding dress but still want something memorable, a statement sleeve can be the perfect detail.

Made for a Montana Fall

Of course, we have to talk about the weather. Montana fall weddings can bring sunshine, chilly evenings, and just about everything in between. While sleeves won’t necessarily keep you warm on a cold day, that little bit of extra coverage can be nice.

And aesthetically? Sleeves and a Montana fall were made for each other. Lace, golden fields, changing leaves, and mountain views create a bridal look that feels romantic without trying too hard.

At Hannah Jane Couture in Kalispell, we love helping brides find a dress that fits their style, their wedding, and most importantly, feels like them.
